Terms of Service
Scope
These terms govern your use of edisonassociationmanagement.com and the publicly accessible portions of Edison Association Management's online services. Management services delivered to client associations are governed by separate written management agreements; if those terms conflict with these, the management agreement controls.
Use of the website
The Edison website is provided for informational purposes. You may browse, read, and share linked pages. You may not scrape the site systematically, attempt to access non-public areas, or use the site to send unsolicited communications.
Edison Education content
Articles published under Edison Education and the Edison Blog are written for educational purposes. They are not legal, accounting, or engineering advice, they're plain-language explanations of issues Florida boards face. For your community's specific situation, consult a licensed professional. Edison is happy to help you find one.
Third-party links and tools
The Edison website links to third-party services we use (CINC Systems portal, HomeWise Docs for estoppels, VIVE login, etc.). Those services have their own terms; we don't control them. We link to them for your convenience.
Proposal requests and intake
Submitting a proposal request through this site doesn't create a management relationship. A management relationship begins only when Edison and an authorized board representative sign a written management agreement.
Disclaimer of warranties
The website is provided "as is." Edison makes no warranty about the accuracy of educational content, the availability of the website, or the suitability of any specific page for your situation. We do our best to keep content current; Florida statute changes more often than the website does.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Florida law, Edison's liability arising from your use of the website is limited to direct damages and excludes consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Florida law. Disputes will be resolved in state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms as practices and law evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
